All forms of land, marine and air transport and materials handling equipment used on company business shall comply with Company Standards and shall be operated by authorized personnel. Management of SEGOFS shall implement this policy and support initiatives which further enhance performance. The logistic manager is responsible for logistic operation. He shall maintain SEGOFS standard for land; water and air transport and provide guidance on their implementation. All SEGOFS personnel and subcontractors shall ensure that transport activities are managed as an integrated part of the day to day activities and within a framework of controls that verifies compliance with Company Standards. All forms of land, marine, air transport and materials handling equipment are registered and inspected by the maintenance personnel prior to being used on any business and thereafter on periodic basis. Our journey management and no night driving policy must be observed at all times. Any exception shall require the direct approval of the Managing Director. |
